Q: When is the new Porsche Boxter Comming out?
When is the new Porsche Boxter comming out?, yeah I know every year, but I mean a complete different look, meaning at least different looking exterior.
A: The Boxster was originally introduced in 1997, and it wasn't until 8 years later that it received a major change with the introduction of the 987 version. There were a couple special editions released during that time, as well as small upgrades.
The Boxster's current design is now about two years old, and it recently underwent some small upgrades. Porsche is a small company and generally they will not carry out major redesigns or product launches side by side... so, with that in mind:
The GT2 is coming out as a 2008 model, which will most likely be the only real change in 2008. The 4 door coupe will most likely be next on the horizon, with small upgrades to most models most likely covering the next couple years. A new Cayenne will likely wind up in there too, but could push other development out another year. Putting 2012 or 1013 as the likely earliest model year you will see a major change to the Boxster platform.
However, if the exact timing will depend alot on current Boxster sales and how that continues to map out over the next couple years... depending on that, a 997 successor or new Cayman version could easily move ahead, meaning that a new Boxster could be as far off as 2015.

A: It looks better in gray.
The Coupe or hardtop handles better than the convertible(cabriolet) because it is stiffer so I would pay the extra money for it.

Q: I have a 2001 Porsche Boxter and the window wipers and license plate lights are no longer working?
I already changed bulbs and checked all the fuses. Any idea what could be the problem? My inspection is due next month, yikes?
A: the Porsche boxter has two fuses for some things on it,,check the second fuse box on it,and see if any in it is blown,there's a master fuse and then there's a slave fuse on it,I'm thinking the slave fuse has blown on it,the owners manual tells where the other ones are for it,,good,,luck,i hope this help,s.

A: The 3 is definitely more comfortable than a Boxter.
It's a toss-up between the 5 and the Carrera. Why? Well, I'd rather have the Carrera, but the 5 is definitely more of a luxury car. When you buy a sports car like a Carrera, performance is immanently more important than comfort.

my window is slideable and can be potentially stolen if nothing gets solven. how do I reenforce so that the window when pushed on cannot be sliden down. (tape doesn't work)
A: install a locking mechanism activated form the inside of the car...
just cut a hole in your panel under the window...
then just place a little brace in there where the bottom of the window is...
this WILL work...you just have to cut into your interior...

A: Porsche has the highest customer satisfaction rating in the world. It's a German car. they ove engineer everything. I think you will find it is quite possible with regular maintenance to get much more then 100k out of it.
I have two BMWs, one has 300 km on it already and still drives and runs like a dream. Have fun with it.

A: It sounds like anti-freeze. Clean it up as soon as possible as pets will be attracted to drink it and it can be fatal to them. Have the cooling system checked unless you can find something obvious like a split hose that you can replace yourself.
